Dr./Prof. Yuanchang Li

Biography: Prof. Dr. Li Yuanchang graduated from Tsinghua University, China in 2007 and obtained his PhD degree in 2012 there, too. He worked at National Center of Nanoscience and Technology from 2012 to 2017, and took the Professorship at Beijing Institute of Technology in 2020. Prof. Li’s research activities are focused on excitonic effects of semiconductors and electronic structures of transition-metal compounds using the first-principles calculations. Prof. Li has published more than 50 reputed journals such as Physical Review Letters, Nano Letters, Physical Review B, etc. All these works are cited around 3000 times. He was elected as Young Changjing Professor China in 2019.
