Biography: Prof. Dr. Li Jiafang graduated from Nankai University, China in 2005 and obtained his PhD degree in 2009 from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He worked at Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2009 to 2018, visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a visiting scholar in 2017, and took the Professorship at Beijing Institute of Technology in 2018. Prof. Li’s research activities are focused on 3D micro-/nano-fabrication, nano-plasmonics, and photonic crystals, as well as on the development of the innovative 3D nano-kirigami fabrication method. Prof. Li has published more than 90 peer reviewed papers, including Nature Nanotechnology, Science Advances, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials, Light: Science & Applications, Nano Letters, etc. He was elected as National Top Young Talents of China in 2020.
